Project
Details

Not only was this a first for CANA with regard to construction management contracts, but this project was the first construction management project undertaken in the City of Calgary.

CANA partnered with the University of Calgary to build this 600,000-ft² building incorporating pre-cast concrete, cast-in-place concrete, and structural steel. This four-storey building houses laboratories, classrooms, offices, and a lecture hall. Interstitial construction was utilized in the project to allow for future expansion and upgrading of the facility.

Since the completion of this project in 1972, CANA has completed over one billion dollars worth of construction management projects in Calgary.
