Details

This unique interpretive centre, located in Cochrane, was constructed by CANA in 1996. Nestled in a small valley, the hall consists of a concrete , wood frame, and log structure, giving it a log cabin appearance.

The centre is split into two major areas. One half features a two-tiered western museum and rodeo hall of fame which houses artifacts of cowboy life. The second half of the centre is a spacious conference room/banquet hall facility capable of hosting meetings or other group functions. The large hall features extravagant woodwork and large windows to allow for plenty of natural light. Part of the construction included a large kitchen area and bar to accommodate banquet functions. Several other amenities and function areas were constructed as well, including the parking area and surrounding landscaping.
