The Italian Centre Shop

The Italian Centre is a specialty high-end grocer and restaurant. The company originated in Edmonton and CANA assisted in their transition into the Calgary market. The project involved converting an existing Sobey’s retail store into the Shop, which features a full café, bakery, deli, food shop and cheese display wall. The Shop provides catering services, take-out meals, and eat-in options with a spacious seating area and patio.

The project involved fast-tracked design with construction beginning in advance of design completion. This was in order to meet a very aggressive schedule. CANA worked with the design team, located in Edmonton, to rectify field coordination issues and ensure design alignment.
