Project
Details

Completed in four phases, CANA undertook a massive restoration of this two-level underground parking structure. The scope of work included adding a new steel structure to replace failing post-tension cables. All work was completed in phases to allow for ongoing operations and use of the parkade for the public and tenants.

The ground floor on this project was unique because of its limited height restriction. Traditionally, steel beams would be used to reinforce the failed concrete; however, due to the height restriction, unique exterior post-tension cable supports were designed and constructed. The existing concrete beams were reinforced and supported by external cables that were pre-stressed and then covered with cast-in-place concrete.
