Details

Constructed between 1955 and 1957, the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium is one of Calgary’s major concert halls. The main theatre has a seating capacity of 2,700 and was acoustically optimized to provide the best sound quality possible within the auditorium.

The building itself is built of reinforced concrete with masonry veneer. A large glass façade adds to the Jubilee’s appeal.

It is noteworthy that CANA also constructed the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton; both facilities were built to celebrate Alberta’s 50th Anniversary.
