CANA returned to the Petro-Canada Centre (now the Suncor Energy Centre), originally constructed by CANA in 1984, to perform a public space upgrade.

Phase I involved several cosmetic improvements to the building, such as enhanced lighting, replacement of carpet and furniture throughout the two public floors. A new central tenant service desk, electronic directory system, and furnishings brought new life to the lobby area. The ceilings in each elevator lobby were also replaced.

Phase II included a complete upgrade of the existing +15 food court kiosk frontages, medical office renovations on the +15 level, new main floor retail space created by the removal of planters, and a new main floor retail corridor.
