Details

As part of a campus-wide redevelopment, CANA completed the East Wing – Phase 1 building.

The L-shaped structure, which is situated on the NE section of the campus, houses new lecture space, classrooms, computer and other specialized labs, and new faculty offices for staff.

The building provides space for an additional 1,600 students. It is equipped with fibre optics and other high-speed data capability throughout the classrooms and labs. The main level features a concourse with a food servery and seating for 100 patrons.

The structure’s exterior features brick and precast which matches the main college building with the addition of a glass curtainwall and aluminum trim to highlight the new building.

The interior finishes consist of a contemporary blend of carpet, paint, vinyl wall covering, and wood panelling. The main public areas feature glazing, tile, and precast.
