Details

Located in Edmonton, the Grey Nuns Community Hospital was one of the leading healthcare facilities in the city. Spanning over 554,000 ft² of floor space, this institute contained 538 beds, several operating rooms, and an emergency care facility when it was built.

Construction commenced in November 1984 with completion in April of 1988. This five-storey hospital is laid out in an "H" formation, which allows quicker access to other areas of the hospital versus conventional layouts. The Grey Nuns hospital was also equipped with the latest in medical technology.
