Details

CANA constructed this important interchange in 1981 to meet Calgary’s increasing traffic demands. The new interchange consisted of several cast-in-place concrete bridges with complementary intersections. The design objective for this interchange was to move the large volumes of traffic from Glenmore Trail to Crowchild Trail (or vice versa) without compromising access to surrounding communities. Earthwork and road construction were also involved in bringing this new interchange to life.
