Details

Constructed in 1982, the Deerfoot Trail/Anderson Road interchange was one of the most complex in Calgary at the time. The seamless connection between these two heavily-travelled thoroughfares required an extensive earthmoving operation. Spanning and support structures consisted of cast-in-place concrete and the construction of a steel span bridge was built to cross the Bow River.
