Project
Details

CANA completed all four of these high-rise office buildings which encompass an entire city block. This project was built in phases, with completion of the first building in 1970 and the fourth in 1981. Bow Valley Square II was completed in 1975, and at 39 storeys, it was the tallest building in Western Canada when it was built, measuring an elevation of 143 metres (468 feet). This tower contained over 3,000 tons of reinforcing steel, 35,000 cubic yards of concrete, and was completed two months ahead of schedule. The remaining three towers are 20 floors, 39 floors, and 33 floors, making the combined square footage of this complex over 2,000,000 ft².

As each building was constructed, it was joined with the completed buildings on the main and second floors. All four levels of underground parking cover the entire block representing 500,000 ft² of space. The complex also contains three floors of retail and meeting facilities, with the remaining floors being occupied by offices.
