Helping ATCO better service its clients.

CANA delivered an administrative and maintenance facility for ATCO Gas in Okotoks. The facility is comprised of two bays and is primarily used to maintain ATCO’s emergency vehicles and equipment for the region. The 5,000 ft2 maintenance shop has a space for parts storage, vehicle testing, and fleet. There is also a yard area for fleet overflow. CANA also constructed a 9,000 ft2 connecting office to house 40 operations, construction, and customer service staff. The facility allows staff to better handle emergency power outages and situations in the area.

The facility is one of the first commercial buildings of its size in Alberta to feature a small scale application of combined heat and power technology in its design and construction. This system helps the building to reduce energy consumption compared to a similar sized building and reduces ATCO’s environmental footprint.
