CANA has played an active role in the phased expansion and renovation of the Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School from 1994 through to 1998. CANA provided estimates based originally on a "Master Plan and Programming" study, then worked with the school in prioritizing and matching the critical needs to the financial resources available. CANA provided continuous costing and scheduling services from design development through to construction and completion. Major structural work was scheduled to coincide with the summer vacation period, thereby minimizing disruption to the operating school.
The two-storey Science Wing addition included circulation renovations as well as classroom and laboratory additions/renovations to the existing facilities. CANA was the construction manager, providing all estimating and scheduling services through to construction execution and turn-over. All school operations continued throughout construction.
All Strathcona-Tweedsmuir projects have been completed within demanding time frames and completed within budget expectations. Our repeat work is indicative of our consistent standard of performance.
