Hanover Building

April 19, 2022

Constructed in 1982, the Hanover Office Tower was another significant office build for CANA. This complex project required detailed construction scheduling and a wide range of construction skills. Demolition of existing buildings was a major task followed by basement excavation and the pouring of the foundations. This 24-floor cast-in-place building incorporated pre-cast concrete slabs for the flooring instead of the traditional cast-in-place floors, making the Hanover Building unique. The building is also clad in brick and features reflective windows to minimize brightness within the complex and control cooling costs.
