The 2014 tragedy in Brentwood saw five young people senselessly lose their lives. When CANA CEO and Chairman John Simpson heard about this tragic event, he knew he needed to do something to help the community. The Simpson family's donation to the University of Calgary helped create UCalgaryStrong, a dynamic, campus-wide initiative aimed at equipping students with the skills to become grounded leaders able to cope with the stress of student life.
