Didsbury Active Hospital

This Type "A" prototypical hospital was built by CANA and Cohos Evamy in 1983. The hospital has two wings and three levels (including the mechanical penthouse). The building features two elevators, with one servicing three levels and the other two levels. Hospital amenities include two operating theatres, a full-service cafeteria, male and female locker rooms, three patient lounge areas in each wing, an expansive foyer, and office space. The emergency room has a four-door ambulance bay, ward-style rooms with three beds, a trauma room, two exam rooms, and a large waiting area.
