Centre Point Buildings Retrofit and Parking Garage Repairs

CANA was involved in renovating both the Centre Point East and Centre Point West apartment complexes. Work began in 1993 on the Centre Point West Building. This project involved the review and testing of existing post tension cables throughout the structure. Each individual cable was tested and faulty ones were replaced. The second major component of this project was the removal and reinstallation of a new exterior insulation finish system and the cladding and vapour barrier. Balcony and railing repairs were conducted, and new roofing was installed. CANA was awarded the contract for the east building in 1995 and performed similar work.
