Along with other partners in the construction industry, all CANA office and supervisory employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to access all CANA worksites, including head office and client premises, as of November 15, 2021. We continue to assess how this will affect our field employees. Full vaccination must be in accordance with the Government of Canada Vaccination Guidelines.
COVID-19 cases have been climbing in Alberta and across Canada. There is scientific evidence that vaccinations are the most effective way to minimize the spread of the virus and protect CANA’s employees, clients, contractors, and the communities in which we work.
This aligns with CANA’s corporate commitment to the health and safety of our employees. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and update our response as required.
“I am proud of all CANA employees for keeping our sites safe and operational throughout the pandemic. This vaccination requirement will ensure our sites and employees continue to remain safe”, says Luke Simpson, President of the CANA Group of Companies. “Thank you to all employees who have already been vaccinated. You have acted in the common good.”
CANA continues to follow enhanced protocols and procedures on our sites, including physical distancing, masking, daily COVID-19 screening, and increased cleaning.
