The Bow to Bluff Public Realm Improvements project began in the spring of 2021 and was completed in the summer of July 2022.
The project consisted of three separate parks between Memorial Drive and McHugh Bluff. The entire corridor features widened sidewalks, improved lighting, new tree plantings, sound wall improvements, and opportunities for community art.
The Play Park at the north end of the corridor includes a hillside climber with a slide, sand pit, playhouse, and seating.
Harvest Park in the middle of the corridor features barbecues, a bocce court, and a large harvest table.
Bow Landing Park along Memorial Drive includes a new skateboard park, upgraded community garden, swing benches, picnic tables, a ping pong table, and connections to the LRT bridge.
Project personnel, stakeholders and the public gather for the grand opening at the Play Park, one of three parks along the Sunnyside LRT corridor as part of the overall project
